AIDS Walk Weekend will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 1st and 2nd across northern New England in an effort to raise funds and awareness for HIV/AIDS in Maine and New Hampshire.

During this weekend, local AIDS service organizations will host walks within their communities. Through a partnership with the National AIDS Fund and Maine Community AIDS Partnership, every dollar raised through this effort will be matched and given back to the community for vital prevention and care. So, gather your friends & family, classmates & coworkers and help make a difference in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

AIDS is still a very serious illness in our society. Every 10 minutes another American citizen is infected with HIV. Join this historic event in an effort to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and help deliver vital prevention, education, and care that is needed throughout our community. Together we can take steps toward a world without HIV/AIDS.
